We have multiple opportunities for individual volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House! Our House was created by volunteers, and we are almost always seeking new volunteers to add to our team.
Core Volunteers
Our Core Volunteers help around the House by answering phone calls, answering our door, sorting donations, cleaning, and other tasks as assigned by our team. We have placements at both of our Houses for this volunteer role:
Ronald McDonald House on Moye Blvd
- Shifts available 7 days a week at the following times: 9 AM – 12PM, 12PM – 3PM, 3PM – 6PM, 6PM – 9PM.
- We have a flexible scheduling system so you can choose days and times that work best for your schedule.
- We ask that you be able to commit to at least 3 shifts a month for 6 months as our volunteer placements require ample training.
- Age limit of 18 for all volunteers at this location and a background check is required.
Ronald McDonald House inside Maynard Children’s Hospital
- Shifts available 7 days a week at the following times: 9 AM – 12PM, 12PM – 3PM, 3PM – 6PM, 6PM – 9PM.
- We have a flexible scheduling system so you can choose days and times that work best for your schedule.
- We ask that you be able to commit to at least 3 shifts a month for 4 months as our volunteer placements require ample training.
- Age limit of 16 for all volunteers at this location and a background check is required for those over the age of 18.
Specialty Volunteers
We have volunteer placements in the following areas that are considered specialty positions within our RMH on Moye Blvd:
