The Teen Ambassador Program is comprised of a select group of high school students chosen based on academic merit and commitment to volunteering. Teens commit to a service year from August-April and meet at least once a month at RMHC of Eastern NC.
This program gives teens a greater understanding of several aspects of a nonprofit organization and shows them the importance of giving back to the community.
During their service Teens work on:
- service projects around the House
- fundraising and special events
- planing their own fundraiser as a group as their final project.
Their purpose is to create awareness, raise funds and support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern NC.
